I'm pretty new to AI agents and keep seeing people talk about them for business automation.

Are they actually worth learning right now, and what's the easiest way to get started as a beginner? n8n, Python, or something else?

Would appreciate some honest opinions from people already doing this.

Sure its worth getting into. What do you have in your business you could use an agent for?

The only thing i would say is watch out for these agents and doing things via paid api's, as lots of people are complaining that settings get changed by these clankers and the next thing you wake up to a AI bill of $2k lol

It's definitely worth it but depends heavliy on what you'll be doing. If you want to pump out articles like there is no tomorrow they can do it but would it benefit at all? I don't think so. You can automate some of the customer support which is okay. I'll start with n8n

Yes it is worth learning with practical applications and working out several examples instead of getting caught up hype.

If it's for just general business automation or a vague notion like you'll make lots of money automatically with very less effort if you know just couple of tricks here and there, then I would say no actually don't bother with it, it'll probably cost more money and time than you can afford. If you have something particular in mind you would like to consider it could be worth it but it would depend exactly what it is and how you plan to use it.

Yes definitely, AI is the tool of the future. You can check YouTube to learn for free in order to learn.

If you don't know python, as a beginner you should lean n8n, nodes, api first. Which will give you clear the concept of how ai agents works and how to build one. Then you have learn how to build one. Ai agents has 106% freelancing market value and it will be increase. So no worries first take some real concepts from Google, chatgpt, YouTube and other sources will be a wise decision rather than buying a course.

Learning programming in general is worthwhile, and LLM's can help you a lot, but don't expect them to write real commercial software for you.

I think it’s worth learning, especially if you approach it through practical automation rather than hype. Starting with n8n and basic API concepts seems like a good beginner-friendly route, then adding Python once you understand the workflows. The key is building a few useful projects instead of just learning the tools.
