I need to make a choice between next and RN. RN because I want to have compatability across different platforms and next cause I heard it's the best for SEO.

I am building a marketplace making SEO extremely important.

Am leaning towards RN because platform compatability is what I want the most right now. So is there any proven solutions to not loose the SEO value of next while being on RN?

React Native? Or React? Unless you are making an app, I don't see why you need RN. Next.js is definitely better in terms of being SEO friendly (and it also have many things included like file based routing, caching and so on). React is pretty bare-bones IMHO.

i would probably still go for RN as my main concern will be cross platform support. as for SEO u do not really need Next.js in particular u just need server side or prerendered web pages with crawablle URLs, metadata, structured data nd fast loading speed.

however, since seo may be an integral part of your market as well, I would recommend keeping the web layer in place when using Next.js together with RN for development as this way you will be able to have cross-platform functionality without making seo harder than necessary.

I wouldn't choose pure React Native Web just for cross-platform compatibility.
Next.js for the public web + React Native for iOS/Android, sharing your backend, API, business logic, and as much UI/component code as practical. Next.js gives you SSR/SSG/ISR, which is useful for making marketplace listings and category pages crawlable.

For a marketplace, my recommendation: don't sacrifice your SEO-critical web layer for code sharing. Build the web experience with Next.js and keep RN focused on the app.

regarding the website itself, Next.js will be used for the SEO-friendly websites nd RN for the mobile app. It is also still feasible to use one and the same backend nd business logic code without complicating the web version.

RN is for mobile apps Next.js is for web. if you’re building a marketplace where SEO matters you need a web solution and Next.js is the right call there.
