Paid traffic works… my offers don’t Any tips?

Hi guys,

I’m looking for some advice on what offers/angles are actually working right now with paid traffic on Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.

I’m pretty comfortable with the traffic side — I can build UGC creatives, static ads with strong CTRs, prelanders, funnels, tracking, etc. I also know my way around more aggressive advertising setups.

My problem is simply finding the right offer + angle. Everything I’ve tested lately has generated clicks and engagement, but basically zero revenue.

My latest test was an iPhone 17 CC-submit offer with a prelander. Spent around $100 and made $0 back.

At this point I’m wondering if I’m choosing the wrong offers, wrong verticals, or just approaching the funnel incorrectly.

Anyone actively buying traffic on FB/IG/Reddit who can point me toward verticals, offer types, networks, or angles worth testing right now?

Not looking for anyone to spoon-feed me a campaign — just some direction from people who are actually making paid traffic work.

yes, a lot of sweep traffic has become increasingly difficult to monetize due to filtering by quality and fraud detection. testing offers through clean funnels and sources with compliant traffic is the way to go, IMO.

I'd browse a bit and check what gets a lot of impressions in your feed for some inspiration about promotion and what may work.

Then search for the sponsor behind the offer.
But the offer itself is just the beginning

You may even do better selecting something that is not overly saturated, and available in every network, such as going direct to a sponsor in the desired niche.

There are plenty of offers working right now across areas like home improvements, solar, windows, insurance, utilities and claims.

What geos are you looking to cover, and are you looking for online sales offers or CPL/lead generation?

It’s difficult to judge the test without knowing more about the actual product, offer and conversion point.

$100 can also be quite a small sample depending on the expected CPA. If you’re testing an offer that normally costs $50-$100+ to acquire a customer, there may simply not be enough data yet to draw a conclusion.

Angles like free quotes, comparisons and savings can work well, but personally I’d approach it the other way around:

Find a product or offer with solid economics first, understand the customer and conversion journey, then reverse engineer the traffic source, angle, landing page and creative around it.
