Everyone swears by aged accounts but I've seen fresh ones with a clean setup last just as long lately. What's actually working for you right now, and how long do yours survive before a ban?

I agree, new accounts work very well, even better than accounts with a spending history or BM2500. I think that's due to Facebook's algorithm at the moment.

I believe that if you manage a new account well, the results can indeed be quite good. Perhaps you could give it a try.

Yeah that's been my experience too lately, a fresh account with a clean fingerprint and proper isolation often outlasts an aged one from a sketchy source. Feels like people overpay for age when the real edge is the setup around it. How long are your fresh ones typically lasting before anything happens?

It depend, i prefer old account
Makes sense, what's your reasoning, higher starting limits or smoother first few days? From what I've seen the source of the aged account matters way more than the age, a well-aged one from a bad batch still dies day one. Where do you draw the line on what's worth paying extra for?

Using aged account give it some kind of "trust" i thing, it make the account more durable

I think this is due to Facebook's current algorithm; new accounts are performing even better than the current BM2k5 accounts.

we are currently implementing a combinations of both account types, i have seen new account perform very effectively when properly set up, whereas some long standing account do not necessarily hold an advantage

An old account should outperform a new account any day. The only exception is if the old account was not properly structured and the account was not able to keep up with evolving trends. Facebooks' algorithm would work better with an old account that has maintained a clean slate. Have you noticed how new accounts are banned lately? It points to the fact that old accounts with integrity have more trust.

in my view, the history of the acount matter more than the age of the account. the new account with a valid spend history can be helpful, but still, I will go for the old one.

Agreed on integrity being the key, though I'd say that's exactly it, it's the clean track record, not the age, that earns the trust. A dirty old account is worse than a clean new one. The recent new-account bans are probably more about lazy setups than age itself. Age only helps because it usually comes with history, but the history is the real signal.

I recently discovered that Meta has a lot of assets, both old and new, so to be able to operate successfully, I think as long as you have clean accounts and effective campaigns, they will all thrive.

I think an older account is better because it has an established history and offers more stability than a new one, though it ultimately depends on your advertising goals.

i have actually witnessed the same thing. older accounts are no longer necessarily more secure. having a proper set up, being active nd not pushing things too much right off the bat appear to be more important. the newer accounts can actually work out quite well when treatted like actual users.

Yes, but I don't think there's much of a correlation between simply switching accounts and performance, perhaps because the ads have gone through a new learning phase and they're doing better this time.

I still find older accounts perform better and more effectively than newer ones, even though the ban rate is almost the same.

I believe that IP addresses showing negative signals have been flagged, making your accounts more likely to be disabled; if you start over with a new device and a new account, things will go much better.

from my view i think a clean setup matters more than just account age becasue aged accounts can help sometimes but a fresh account with proper setup and good history can also perform well.
