How many times a day do you eat soup?

I do mostly during the winter. I mean I love soup, but it takes too much effort to make, and I am probably the only one in my family who likes it. So, whatever I make, I have to consume lol.

Offtopic, but that username color looks so good. :D

I usually have soup about once a week. I like it, but I don’t think I could eat it every day. Veggie or chicken soup twice a day sounds like a good option if you enjoy it and keep the ingredients varied.

in my country, soup is a normal thing you must have at home

My Ex was Uzbek/Russian . She told me that where she's from, soup is the first meal of the day. In her culture, they were so health-conscious since youth; it was amazing

What shocked me, though, as I've gotten older. I realize soup is so important because it allows your stomach to rest from its daily heavy workloads we give it from meats and other solid foods... ligthtening that load heals the gut..... and once the gut heals, so much more of your body heals.

Tesla, the scientist, used to eat soup every day, I believe, because he knew the facts about how beneficial it was to his overall health and thought process.
Crazy how little people know about such an important part of our health.

For me, eating soup in the morning to start your digestive system and at the end of the day to allow your digestive system to work more lightly as you go to sleep can change EVERYTHING about your overall health, appearance, and way of thinking.

None
I treat soup as food for old people without teeth to bite/chew, nothing against them, but it's something to eat once i'm 70yo, if I ever get there

If you count a whole chicken slow cooked broth as soup then quite often.

I used to not mind soup. Then a road trip with an Ukranian happened. Like @GNews 's ex, Ukranians always have a pot of fresh soup on the stove and strive to eat it several times a day. My ukranian friend said his mother always told him it would keep him healthy. Same for not having a fan (or AC) blow when his hair is wet.

One yea, we needed to go to the US for a conference. Since this was his first time in the US I offered to take him on an epic road trip up to my parents house in WA state via Nevada and then we'd come back down to LA where we'd be flying out again on the coast (the west coast drive is really lovely, I never mind doing it everytime someone from europe comes to the states with me).

Driving from LA to Arizona where we'd do the conference was fine. The conference was fine. He had his stuff to do and I had mine. Since I had lunch and dinner meetings we didn't even eat together. Then it was time to head out.

I'm not a breakfast person and I hadn't checked if he ate. I assumed since he was an adult, he'd have ate breakfast at the hotel if he wanted it. We weren't even out of Tempe when he told me he was hungry. We were in rush hour traffic so I figured it couldn't hurt to pull off and find a grocery store for road trip snacks. I get my stuff and wait for him to come out. He came out with an orange and 2 empanadas. It was 9am and I told him I wasn't planning on stopping again for at least 2-3 hours. So he went in and got a few more things.

Lunch time is rolling around and the city I was aiming for to lunch in was coming up. I asked him what he wanted for lunch. Soup. Fuck.. where do I find soup on a road trip? The city wasn't huge, it had the usual fast food suspects and some local places but nothing that I knew would sell soup. Except they DID have a Denny's and I know Denny's sells at least chicken noodle soup. So that's where we ate.

EVERY SINGLE DAY of the rest of the road trip. o-O This was back in 2017 and I still refuse to eat at a Denny's when I get back to the states.

I also rarely eat soup these days and people get a background check when they want to roadtrip with me. The top question is, "how do you feel about soup?"
