Is it so easy to create a forum from scratch?

I'm a creative guy with some free time. What if I build a forum from scratch and create all posts and comments by myself? Could it work and rank with some authority or not?

Why would anyone visit, and interact with a forum that is solely just you e-stalking? There won't be enough variety, as you don't know know everything. Plus it would get boring fast, writing fake posts over and over again, while you "wait" for that magical upswing that google will think "yeah this is a valuable forum"

these days its not a good idea to start forum unless you have very good amount of money for marketing.

Nah it won't work long-term, ngl - a forum's entire value prop IS the community/organic discussion, n it's painfully obvious to both users n Google when it's just one person talkin to themself under different usernames, u'll rank for like 2 weeks til Google's spam systems clock the fake engagement pattern n tank it, better to just write a regular blog if it's gonna be solo content anyway

A lot of good answers here, but why nobody asks about main goal? Hey, OP what is your main goal? You see: "Could it work and rank" - yes, it could. But what for? I mean, it's OK and might work but for general informational tasks; for commercial key-words it's a dead technique.
