Bots bots bots

So my instagram has been under attack the past few days lol like 400 bot accounts a day....

Any way I can stop this from happening?

That sucks cuz the algo really can't tell or doesn't care if you bought them or not, they're gonna see a lot of empty follows and decide not to push your acc to real people cuz only bots follow it. Far as I know you can report the issue or try to report the accounts gradually, can't say there's much else that can be done if you're randomly hit by it. Happens on Twitter often enough.

There is to many! Hahaha that would take forever.... especially if it keeps going.

temporarily switch to private, and give your account a rest period. maybe someone has a grudge on you, it sounds like an attack or maybe someone mistakenly entered a wrong username.

Just go private for the time being until this doesnt stop, and once every few days or so, or whenever needed, just go to those requests, via your notification, click on "Manage", click tick all, and then remove button. All requests will be gone instantly.

Not possible, Instagram already knows. They can't ban your account just because of that, there are more reasons they look for before they do that.

You can't do much in these situations, make your page private or remove them one by one

This is a difficult and frustrating situation. You should switch to private mode to temporarily stop your boss from following you. Focus on identifying and removing anyone you suspect might be your boss. After some time, you can switch back to public mode so Instagram can refresh your list of followers.

Not possible, Instagram already knows. They can't ban your account just because of that, there are more reasons they look for before they do that.

IK, just saying it was a legitimate tactic to get people’s account flagged and someone might be trading to do it.

It’s funny you say that, because there’s actually a really weird coincidence that would make it seem like someone was targeting me…

this works in multiple ways as well since even if IG doesn’t flag you for getting botted engagement, whatever traffic you’re trying to funnel might spot those followers and get turned off with whatever you’re promoting.

That's a competitor/hater tryin to get u shadowbanned or flagged for "fake engagement" u didn't even buy - screenshot n report every batch immediately, don't manually mass-block, n honestly just let IG's system auto-purge em over time since Meta's bot detection usually catches up on its own within a week or two
