I can't believe this guys! I'm so heated right now that some ********ing scum hacked my email and got on my paypal and god knows what else... Idk what to do right now. Here's what happened.

I signed up on hackforums.net and made the mistake of using the same password that I use on my email...

Today, I can't log in to my email. He changed my ********ing password!!!

Immediately I check my paypal, and what do you know, it's limited. I find out that he sent $10 to [email protected], and what do you ********ing know, there's a mod named napzter on the forums!

I don't even know what to do right now. The hacker has my email and I've tried to get it back with recoveries but no dice. That email has so much valuable info in there that I need. I ********ing hate this!!!! I feel powerless and as lame as it might sound, I feel scared. I want to be able to see this guy face to face so I could kick the shit out of him for stealing from me.

Guys what do I do? I've already changed passwords for my bank and paypal... Idk what to do next...

Yeah... They have all my accounts now. Seriously right now I'm just hopeless... They just got my paypal account, they already have my live account... I just don't know what to do. That stupid ********ing website is a scam. I can't believe they would be so low to do something like that.

Bad news. Get on the phone to Paypal right away to limit the damage. Also call your bank to hold any money requests from Paypal.

I just called paypal.. this gets even worse...

I got the automated thing that tells me there are a lot of login attempts and tells me I need a new password, and since I can't use my old one because of all the login attempts, it's going to send a password reset email to me... Great!!

I've seriously lost everything now.

it's not really helping changing the passwords until you haven't removed the trojan/keylogger from your computer, i guess he didn't really hacked/brute forced your accounts, just stole the login details

probably it's too late by now, but you should scan your system with hitman pro & malwarebytes

I'm using a mac which doesn't get affected by viruses... or so I thought.. I was on the forum because I downloaded a ********ing youtube marketing pdf off it. They have an internet marketing forum. Thanks for rubbing it in my face guys. I wasn't there to learn how to hack... Glad you guys think its funny. Whatever..

As others have already stated never use your main email password on any forum or for anything.... Im sure you have learned a hard but good lesson. Also live hotmail has an alternative email you can use to get your account back unless the guy hasn't already changed your alternative email...

call your bank and tell them to deny all your transactions. do this until paypal gets it together

it's also too late to mention, but there was a pdf exploit on Macs what Adobe fixed not too long ago:

those times ended a long time ago when a Mac can't get infected!

and you can say we make fun of you, but we have all the rights to do that, in the first place, you were who used the same password on multiple important accounts and now you're a cry baby, because somebody stole your accounts?!

and one more thing which is also too late for you but others can benefit from it: it's always a good idea to download all your emails to your HDD (using MS Outlook or other program) and/or forward a copy of them to another email address (possibly another provider) obviously which is protected with not the same password

It happens to me few months back... All my CC, bank accounts, e-mails get new owner :-/
In few days my succesful IM company went to bankrupcy (due unpaid invoices) my savings went out, my ebay account get raped... I had to change a country after this Still waiting till I will get back and I will be able to hire a proper lawyer that can defend me properly...

What you need to do :

Call Live.com - they can track IP - tell them that somebody hacked your e-mail, they should help. You can give them as a proof additional info used during registration...
Call GayPal - ask them to block your account - you dont want this guy to go in to debt with it.
Contact Hack Forum owner or super mod - explain, maybe he will help.

Sorry to say that, but from my experience you are ********ed - now you can only try to avoid bigger damages...

Call live.com support or atleast write an email to them and tell em that your account was hacked.

Call Paypal and ask them to completely block your account for a few days.

Re-install the whole Operating system to remove any keyloggers etc

I would even file a complaint at the police station .. telling them that someone has hacked into your email id, paypal accounts, fb accounts, twitter ( anything that comes to your mind ) .. this way if the hacker pretends to be you and deals with some illegal stuff .. you will be safe later on.

Yeah, exactly - YOU HAVE TO GO TO POLICE and get a paper from them saying that you have informed them that this happened - otherwise nobody will believe you if this will go in wrong direction...
You need to have a legal proof that you reported identity theft!!!
