I have stopped treating AI as a content writer and started using it as a research assistant. That is where I have seen the biggest gains.
A few things that are actually working for me:
- Building topical clusters instead of publishing random keywords.
- Using AI to analyze the top 10 ranking pages and identify missing subtopics before writing.
- Generating multiple title meta variations and testing CTR over time.
- Automating internal linking suggestions across the site.
- Refreshing old content with AI rather than constantly publishing new articles.
- Using AI to create content briefs.... then editing the final article manually instead of one click publishing.
One thing that did not work for me was mass publishing unedited AI articles. It was fast, but rankings were inconsistent and many pages never gained traction.
For me AI is best used to speed up research and optimization not replace SEO strategy.
