Their domain prices ARE VERY HIGH nowadays. the .com tld is approaching almost $20

What's going on?

i believe the update will have something to it they cant just increase it like that so if you find anything please let us know

I guess the owners that bought NameSilo in 2018 Brisio Innovations that is a private equity firm based in Vancouver, Canada has changed their money strategy for it. I used them alot before but not since a couple of years now since they started to do weird shit. To bad really. I mostly use Cloudflare, Porkbun and in some cases Spaceship that is owned by Namecheap lately to register domains.

I've migrated to NameSilo after Moniker got taken over by another company and had a major breach at around 2009 / 2010 or so.

Never had a real complaint, but it's true that the prices are already approaching a level where one needs to consider moving his domains somewhere else.

I believe I know a solid registrar that charges about $5 less per year for a .com.

Yes feel free to message me - I'm a bit vary to post service recommendations in public here, since I already received warnings for that.

Lol, probably because you include aff links.

For anyone just have a look at:

tldes DOT .com

or tld-list DOT com

They are very up to date, and end if you have a decent amount of domain names etc you can always transfer them to a new register as there is always a good transfer in coupon available

I don't think I ever used namesilo but their prices were great back in the day if I recall.

Namecheap is my mommy.
