Heyo, beautiful BHW people!

Back in the day, like 2-4 years ago, I used this forum quite a lot to find high-quality services from different providers. I came back after being away for a while, and this time I got a lotta traction with basically zero action.

What I mean is, it feels like people either stopped providing quality services altogether, or they just talk about providing them without actually doing anything.

For context, I was trying to get some Reddit services. I either contacted or was contacted by probably 50++ different people, and most of the time I either got ghosted or my requirements were completely ignored.

So maybe it’s just a Reddit-related issue in my case??

What happened here? Is gray-ish marketing online just way harder nowadays? Did people get tired of it? Or is there some other reason behind it?

Have you guys noticed anything similar?

Curious to hear your thoughts. Let’s talk about it.

Yeah, BHW has changed a lot. Many old providers left, and finding reliable sellers now requires more research.

Sorry to hear you’re not getting the responses you’re after maybe we can help with that..
When you say you contacted or were contacted by 50++ different people it looks like you made 7 posts https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/letuvis.1126984/#recent-content including this one over the last 3+ years,
2 of which are WTB. Following our guide https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/rules-posting-in-want-to-buy.951771/ and engaging in the thread will help. Engagement in the process really helps.
Give it another go. Be more specific about what you're after and engage in the thread you've created and you should see more engagement from sellers and hopefully find the service you're after.
Hope it works out for you. If you don't then reach out to me I'd be interested to hear about your experiences. Thanks.

thanks for the input! firsst of all thank you for building all of this for the internet, generally I believe it's needed and useful.

But yeah, one of the issues for me specifically was that I was unable to participate in my own created post in WTB section of the forum so it went dead after a few comments from service providers. I believe it would be useful for people to participate in their own created posts even if the section does not allow to participate in other people posts made there. That would be a great upgrade. Just an idea.

And I won't give up for sure! I'll keep digging, just wanted to know whether it's my personal issue or this is something that other people noticed too (may be just a specific subject also, Reddit in this case).

Didn't want to sound like i'm downplaying the platform in any way, I really appreciate what you've built here.

i have noticed in proxies category sellers have not been on the forum for many weeks or months, this makes me not want to deal with them or get in touch. is this normal?

Thanks for your message - the positivity is much appreciated. We're always interested in hearing the feedback.
You can engage in the WTB threads. These are the terms under which you may engage. WE've found that this inturn shows potential sellers that you're interested as a buyer.

Rules for Replying to a WTB Thread

1.) You must have an active Jr. VIP, Premium or Marketplace seller subscription to reply to WTB threads.
2.) When replying, specify exactly what you can provide for the OP (original poster).
3.) When making a post, please make sure it's on topic and useful for the OP. Again, there is a template just below these rules for you to use! As we are no longer allowing contact information to be posted in WTB posts, you may do one or all of these things:
  • Detail why your product is better than everyone else's and tell the OP to DM you if they're interested.
  • You may post your marketplace link in the thread so the OP can read up on your offerings.
  • You may DM the OP your contact information along with a link to their WTB thread to show the DM was not unsolicited. (this is your responsibility, if you forget it could incur a warning if reported)

Where sellers don't appear on the forum as you suggest above, we close their threads, as one of the requirements is engagement on their sales threads. If you find this not to be the case, please hit the report button.
