What's a Reddit Pirate?
To new brands and people begnning a 'subreddit' . You should be aware of "Reddit Pirtes"
There are people with technology to detect fast growing communities and if you only have 1-2 weak accounts moderating them, they have methods to try and get those accounts banned.
Once you're gone, they will come and take over moderating the community and sell it or keep it in their portfolio until they can sell it or benefit from it.
How to avoid the pirates?
Keep multiple moderators on your subreddits. Always have backup accounts to replace any that might go down.
This is more serious than some might believe.
