Super BLACK SEO Tools combination - explanation needed

Hi.
I’m looking for an explanation of how a certain site manages to rank incredibly high, specifically, what "black hat" SEO methods were used.
Not sure if i can share the URL? So let me try to explain at first:

The domain was definitely purchased, and the niche is somewhat related, but the site is currently selling illegal products. (Ahrefs DR previously were around 45-55, right now it stays under 25)
Bots don't detect the redirects;
Built using simple HTML and includes JavaScript that likely hides the redirect from bots.
The entire site is very simple but packed with sales-oriented keywords and products. Each product links to a simple .html file that redirects to the other online store.

Can anyone explain how a site like this works? What exactly is causing it to rank so high under very difficult keywords?

For me, a good workflow is using one tool for keyword research, another for technical site audits, one for backlink analysis, and a crawler to check internal linking and indexing issues. That combination has been much more valuable than relying on one all in one platform.

Not a black hat SEO expert since I don't run purely spam garbage. However, niche marketers matter. It's not probably about the black hat strategy - it may be about the market it works in. I'm purely dependent on tiered link building and AI-generated content, and everything is automated. Google likes my content, and at the same time, I have a few niches where I struggle to rank (where I work on local stuff as my own physical business related to music). However, my entire income situation is now perfect, and I've officially switched to those niches.

Can't agree more. I seen here or other forum someone explained it best. He is a SEO expert and he claims Google has RRF (random ranking factors for niches) so there are some niches compatible.

I tested GSA links + just keyword stuffing and all site built with DeepSeek (via open router) and I got few sales in less than 2 months for a brand new site. So I guess you are right
