I have been running ads for peptides for almost 8 months, meta ads and google ads. Currently we are at around $40k/monthly income and 40% is our profit. Should I start a marketing agency>

When you say we you are already an agency you just don't know it. When you say i you are definitely not an agency and you will need to hire full time part time or VAs to become an agency.

Before making a decision, compare the current model (arbitrage/in-house marketing of one product) and the classic agency model

With those numbers, you already have something valuable: real campaign experience and proven results. The biggest mistake would be jumping into an agency without a repeatable process, because managing clients is very different from running your own offers. I would first document your systems and test with a few clients before scaling.

If you want to monetize your media buying skills directly: High-ticket consulting or performance/rev-share deals usually offer a much higher margin with far less operational headache than launching a full-service agency

I have worked for many agencies before, now currently I am managing the whole marketing team for a few clients. So my question is should I start my own thing where I will hire freelancers that I will manage or do I continue doing this? The only thing I don't know is how these agencies are getting the clients.

Definetly. That is the key to scaling any business.

If your current business is growing, I’d be careful about splitting your attention too early. Running campaigns for your own business and managing clients are two very different jobs. I’d probably make sure your current operation is stable first, then test taking on one or two clients before committing to a full agency.

If you have proper skill and sophisticated plan about starting your own marketing company then I will say, obviously you should give it a try. If you genuinely believe in yourself to starting it go ahead...

First of all you must make sure it's not an euphoria moment... If I understand correctly you run affiliate or your own products and want to run ads for other people and get % of the topup (or whatever strategy you use).

There are few things you should answer yourself first:
- Will you be able to make a good amount of money faster than your method will stop working?
- If you continue running as you run now and keep learning to keep it stable for longer, will it be better than changing focus and possible lose both because google/meta "finds" ur method and cuts it?
- Running an agency will require talking with people all day long and explain basic things and keep calm, it may be weird, but for many people this is very hard, and it drains your energy faster than you can imagine...

But if you feel that you want to run an agency, start it, or at least test it :)

If you have enough and proper instruments and manpower then you can start your own marketing agency. But you have to work very hard in the beginning.

you can continue doing your agency till you think you need more hands on deck

If you have 40% profit from there then I think you should have your own marketing agency.

At the beginning I wont make as much money as I am making now. But the thing is that It's very scalable. Every business has a roof, I am feeling that I am almost hitting it here. I am not really running these ads for myself but for somebody else

Yeah I know. The hardest part will be getting the clients because thats the only thing I have not figured it out yet.
