Should a GBP description be a genuine and normal description for the business or can it be more like a pitch as long as it includes the main keywords? I want to start mine with a question targeting my ICPs main pain but this might not be the best place for it right (the rest of the description is pretty normal tho)? Is Google always expecting a normal business description? Is the situation different for local directories?

Hiding nav on Cookies and Legal URLs is good practice, right? I have just got my footer on these with links to legal pages and home.

Duplicate or thin content only refers to text, right? Got 2 URLs that are visually the same but their content is completely different, guess its no problem?

Will mentioning on my site as a header or as body text the exact name of my GBP category make any difference? Guess it is a consistency signal?

Thanks for reading!

it should include the main keywords. Google expects it to be natural but if you can tweak it a little bit, it is good.

Local or not, its the same.

Yes it is a good practice.

It can also refer to images.

No, it doesn't matter

Great, thanks! what about GBP's phisical business info? I provide services and my GBP location is my house so I cant add a storefront image as I aint got an establishment. What should I do with both frontstore image and additional configs such as parking, amenities and accesibility?

As for mentioning your GBP category on the site i dont think it acts as a direct ranking signal if it fits naturally into the copy it is fine but I wouldnt force it just for consistency

  1. Keep the GBP description natural and informative, use keywords naturally, not as a sales pitch. 2. Yes, hiding nav on legal pages is common. 3. Duplicate content isn't about design; different content on the same layout is fine. 4. Mentioning your GBP category naturally on your site can help a little, but don't force it.
