Idiot buyers on eBay

just ask him if he still wants a refund or not considering the item is already sent and he has the tracking number, yes or no answer and don't wait to much

if he says yes or if he hesitates then my advice is that you should file your complaint to PP

explain the buyer that the item is already shipped out and you can't do anything to expedite the delivery

Yes, I have already sent him an email telling him he already has tracking number and item is on its way so there is no reason for a refund because then he would have to send back the item immediately.

I did not get any reply so either he has learnt to read in the meantime or he just does not reply and tries to scam me.

I have told him that DHL takes a delivery time of up to 14 days from China and that he has seen this from the listing and if he has not seen it he has now been informed about it.

Get over it. And get the Egay & Gaypal golden rule in your head for good:
"Crime does pay, let's get scammers refunded"

I had a similar issue, i sold a satellite stb on ebay, i gave the buyer the date it should arrive and provided the tracking code with the link to the site where he can track the package, 3 days later he contacted me and told me he was reporting me to ebay and the authorities for scamming him because he did not receive his package, i told him in pure anger "you will get the ********ing package, did you even bother to read my message i sent you, look at the ********ing tracking code and enter it into the website i provided you".

All in all, he received the package and apologized.

Either your being scammed, or the buyer is a dufus

Some people just don't belong on the internet.

I experienced the same issue but at the opposite side as a buyer. I filed for a refund because the item did not arrive on time (maybe 10 more days passed than the promised date). But I did not get any payment since the buyer sent the tracking code and all the legal papers about shipping to Paypal. They decided in favor of him. It was 2 years ago.

This is why I only sell info products on egay now...it only costs pence to produce, has a nice profit and, if you do get some idiot buyers, you can easily refund without it hitting your pocket.

No worries buddy, you got the ebay page, you got the tracking number, thats all the proof you need to shut his ass down.

yes you are completely right, some people are completely stupid, they cannot or do not want to read anything and then send stupid mails.

in the listing I stated seller will ship item within 3 working days and time of delivery is up to 14 days. Now only 5 of these 17 (!) days are over and he starts making terror that he has been already waiting for 10 days. What 10 days, he cannot read and he even cannot count.

He is getting free shipping and item price is about $ 30 lower than other sellers prices, so what else does he want. Shall I bring it personally to his door for free or wtf.

yes but i prefer dropshipping, because otherwise I will have to invest money, have the risk that items do not sell and lose my money. also if I order 5, 10 or more items I will have to pay customs duty and so I would have to increase my selling price .....

anatho, a smart businessman does not outsource his inventory control. He lives and dies on that product and thats why you need control over it. it might cost you a few bucks more on each transaction but you will save yourself immense headaches and give yourself a lot of power over scammers.

I used to sell physical products on ebay, was pulling in several thousand a month in my niche.. but the headaches weren't worth it. I was packing and shipping all my own stuff, but there were tons of complaints, not to mention several times I sliced my hand up on the packaging (being careless in order to get everything ready to mail off that day)...

I now dropship products, which are shipped from the USA (and only to the USA... sorry to my fellow Canucks!), and I've had no problems with people complaining about delays etc. What I do have a problem with, is people not reading the damn auction, and bid without knowing what they're bidding on. Sometimes they refuse to pay, other times they pay and then demand a refund. My listings are 100% whitehat, and I've made sure that I've covered my ass as best as I can, and with the few complaints I've had, ebay has only ever sided with a buyer once in 4 years, and I tweaked the shipping disclaimer on my listings immediately after that and have had no problems since.

In your case, it sounds like the buyer is either a jerk or a complete moron... if you specified the shipping time on the listing, and have the tracking number showing when it was shipped, then I don't see any reason why ebay/paypal would side with the buyer and screw you over. Just be professional, and it should be ok.

In cases where the buyer refuses to pay, you can enable Unpaid Item Assistant which automatically files non-paying bidder claims, and refunds your listing and final value fees. Very useful tool.

Good luck getting this situation resolved!

First you need to calm down. This buyer is clearly one of those stupid buyers that do not ready anything in the listing or when you send them an email. The good thing is that you have tracking and you sent it to him. If he starts a dispute for an item not received then just give paypal/ebay the tracking number and you should be good to go. It's better if you provide the tracking when you know the package got delivered.

If the buyer starts a dispute saying the item is not as described then just tell him to send the package back. He probably won't because he won't want to pay for expencive shipping with tracking. I think the worst thing that will happen is you get negative feedback. Just try to be as nice as possible

Yes, exactly this is the case. This stupid man received his phone yesterday and now tells me that both batteries are defective or the phone itself is broken because he has charged both of them for 2 hours and phone screen
remains black. Now he wants to send it back and wants back the money. I really doubt that anything is broken so I told him to send it to MY address and not to China. I will personally check what is wrong and if the phone is not broken or HE has damaged it then I will f..... his a......

@OP, Just input the tracking number in paypal and that moron will not win if he file a dispute. I have same experience as you an I win the dispute.

I won Paypal case same as you by given Paypal tracking receipt even it couldn't trackable online.

No, he has received it, but now he complains that either battery or phone is broken and he wants back his money. He wants to return it. But I cannot believe that it does not work. And up to now I did not receive it so perhaps this guy has changed his mind ....

If you are so pissed off at this buyer, you haven't seen anything yet.

ebay has completely gone down the shitter

I mean it used to be bad but now it's just downright ludicrous. Not only the ridiculous seller protection schemes (leaving the buyer naked), but just the constantly increasing seller + ebay fees. I am selling items that I should realistically be seeing almost 60 percent return from and seeing very little of it back after all is said and done. Disgusting.
