an interesting case. everyone focuse on the increase of words, however, in some case, a better flow of information is important. the next step will be using AI visibility in order to attract visitors to your site.I rewrote the structure of an existing article.
Not the content. Not the keywords. Just the structure.
Organic sessions doubled in 3 weeks.
Here's what changed and why it worked.
The article: 1,800 words, ranking in position 9.
Good keyword. Reasonable traffic. High bounce rate.
The audit revealed four structural problems:
→ The actual answer to the search query was buried in paragraph 4
→ No table of contents users had no map through the content
→ Paragraphs running 8–10 lines unreadable on mobile
→ FAQ section at the bottom where no one was reaching it
The structural fixes:
→ Answer moved to paragraph 1 immediately after the hook
→ Table of contents added with jump links to every major section
→ All paragraphs cut to 3 lines maximum
→ FAQ section moved mid-article, marked up with FAQ Page schema
Not one keyword was changed.
Not one sentence was rewritten.
Just the structure.
The outcome over 3 weeks:
→ Position 9 → 4
→ Bounce rate down 22%
→ Organic sessions doubled
Structure isn't cosmetic.
It's the strategy.
