Does it show which filter it was assigned to? I noticed that the usual filter is for spam, this one catches really quickly

Sorry, I forgot to mention, but you can't really see the filter as a regular user. I have tested something on one of my subreddits, posted from another account, and noticed that the post was automatically removed by Reddit. Upon further inspection, it was a spam filter that was applied automatically. It can be seen if you are a moderator rather than a regular user. I would encourage you to create a subreddit just to test these things out. Also, another filter that I encountered was this: Reputation filter; content was automatically flagged and removed. I also saw it from a moderator's side.

You won't recover it. Just create a new one or buy it from the marketplace.

You can actually recover it; I recovered 18 shadowbanned accounts. These bans were not permanent, apparently. (Also, I have never inquired with Reddit support regarding the shadowban; I just logged into these accounts, and they were up. Though the issue is that they are more watched, I think the score of the account drops significantly, and it's way easier to get shadowbanned or even perma banned

In my opinion, Reddit has become more difficult to use. It's very hard for new accounts to publish posts, and many of the posts I make get removed without any clear explanation.

So glad I found this thread. Indeed I tried the same to promote my website on reddit (no links attached), but it got immediately shadowbanned. I even did manual posting/comments from my machine to look like a real natural user.

I will share some of my findings which hopefully will help you:
- I did the same in January, using both my machine and some tools (which unfortunately doesn't exists anymore) to promote my business on reddit threads in niche specific subreddits. it worked pretty good, I was even boosting my comments with upvotes, but that got my 5 years old account with low-mid karma banned. Here I am sure it was because of the upvotes because even Reddit told me I was doing this.
- Then used that tool to add comments from different accounts, not mine. That worked slightly less, with more filters coming and filtering my comments.
- Then I got all my accounts banned/shadowbanned. Here I think for sure it was because I got my first account banned, my fingerprint got blacklisted.
- The most recent experiment of mine was to create a new account, same fingerprint, and decided to move slowly. I started even with scrolling and commenting relevantly to some threads, and when I wanted to promote myself, the comment was removed by reddit (literally this is what it has been seen on UI). Did some more non promotional comments, some were ok (did not get erase), some not. Another promotional comment. boom. shadowbanned.

At this point I hope it's just fingerprint issue, and not brand being blacklisted.

all i did was login and change email, then browsed a bit

Today when i logged in and liked a post i got banned. Its so ridiculous, i dont get it at all.

Hey everyone,

Whenever I try to promote something on Reddit, my post or comment gets removed within about five minutes. When I check, it seems to be removed by Reddit itself rather than the usual reddit filters. This only happens when I’m promoting something, if I post regular comments to gain karma, they stay up without any issue.

Is it possible that Reddit is automatically flagging certain keywords or patterns and removing the content? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this.

I feel like some subreddits are more scrutinizing than others. I usually comment on subreddits with 20-30k members without any problems, but as soon as I commented on R/Face, they banned me immediately! The problem is, that account is a personal account, not a work account. Has anyone else experienced this?

This happens in many subreddits. Regular comments stay up, but anything that looks like self promotion gets reviewed much more closely.
