I used this tactic on my sister recently.

I asked my sister if I could have some of her precooked bacon.

I said sis can I have 3 slices of your bacon.

she said no

so I said oh can I just have 1 slice then.

she said yes.

moral of the story - door in the face technique.

"Do you want my bacon?"
