[Journey] (Solo) Bridge Closer Strategist $4,000/month goal

Day 10.

Grind. Kept my word and paused the data pipeline to strictly hit the backlog.
No new data capture, just dialing and emailing unused list so it doesn't go stale.

Figured out a workaround for the law firm gatekeepers. I called at 8:00 AM EST before the receptionists clocked in. A senior partner picked up his own phone. Point out his missing local citations and broken map pack. He knew it was an issue but didn't have time to fix. Routed him to my local SEO guy for a $200 bridge fee.

Here is the fraction today. One of my web devs is dragging his feet on a previous commercial cleaning deal. Hasn't reply to my Slack message in 24h. If he doesn't update me by noon, I'm cutting him from the roaster. I don't have time to babysit fulfillment.

Daily Positive: Bypassing gatekeepers by calling off-hours works perfectly.
To improve: Provider reliability. Need to start vetting backup devs because this lag is unacceptable.

Back to the phones. Need to clear this list.

Great journey. I guess cold calling is a superpower, not many venture that way, especially on bhw. Just curious if any of the leads was warm enough over email before any zoom call.

I was thinking you'll always need to manage ppl on some level, in regards to your reply to the guy who said better make an agency.

Valid point. Cold emails absolutely generate warm replies and get the foot in the door. Plenty of guys close purely over email. I just use Zoom for the final step because it gives more control over the high-ticket bridge fee.

Cutting a freelancer who ghosts takes one click. Running a traditional agency means fixed payroll, software overhead, and the constant pressure to feed the machine every month just to break even. I route deals. I don't manage employees.

hi Great journey

i recently started to use emails more to send my campaign eg web scraping, automation, web development services ok 2-3 k per day i do email html + part of the text ai generated based on enriched email fields like past messages posts analyzed and static checks and other thinks like that, to create customized outreaches

but if some results will come i will scale up to 30k and more and try expand services and try to do middle man,

btw you think its worth automating cold calling too or sending sms?

Volume doesn't equal quality. Blasting 30k emails a day is just a fast way to burn domains. Automated cold calling kills high-ticket trust, and I only use SMS for meeting reminders, never cold outreach. Keep it targeted.

Day 11.

Wednesday was a cleanup day.

The dev who ghosted me got officially cut. Dropped a hiring thread in the freelance section to find reliable coders. My inbox is getting hit, which is good, but vetting them takes time. Realized my SEO roaster is also getting stretched thin with these local business audits, so I'm going to drop a second hiring thread today specifically for Local SEOs.

Kept hitting the roofer backlog while sorting through messages. Got one owner on the phone was panicking because site was showing a "Not Secure" warning and his traffic tanked. Routed him to a security tech for a quick SSL and malware sweep. Easy $100 bridge fee.

Hit the $1k mark today.

Daily Positive: Crossed $1,000 banked. The hiring thread strategy is bringing in fresh talent.
To improve. Vetting providers is a time sink. Need to filter these PMs faster so I can get back to dialing.

yeah thats true tho i use aged gmails pool and rotate and reuse for other thinks like account generation mass dm so spam rates are low but i have issues with targeting i think many people dont know what is meaning of web scraping or automation but i dont want to do long explaining text cause no one will read it

btw you know web scraping, automation ? if so maybe youre interested in my services

Your conversion rate is amazing. I don't know how you managed to do this in a short timeframe.

Hello, would you be interested in cooperating? I’m currently based in Asia. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more details.

I build my own pipelines. Not looking to outsource the data capture right now.
Fulfillment is the problem.

It comes down to reps. I did this exact role in the corporate agency world for years before going solo. Not starting from zero.

If you have a specific technical skill that fits the roster, send a PM with your stack and rates. I don't chase.

Not sure you noticed, but the bottleneck right now is handling the already too many leads, no need for more leads.
Exactly. The data isn't the problem, fulfillment is.

Day 12.

The hiring threads I dropped in the freelance section blew up my inbox.
Spent almost the entire shift vetting portfolios, checking code, and filtering out the guys who clearly didn't read the requirements.

Didn't make a single dial.
The data pipeline was running in the background pulling fresh local business leads, but I had zero time to actually pitch them.
No money on the board today.

Daily Positive: Found two solid devs and one local SEO guy who actually know what they are doing. Testing them on some smaller deals next week.
To improve: HR tasks completely killed my sales momentum. Need to strictly time-block provider vetting so it doesn't eat my revenue hours.
