I am planning to start a new blog & i would love to hear from people who've built a profitable blog without depending on Google traffic. What channels worked best for you and what would you recommend to someone just getting started?

a blog does not necessarily need to depeend only on google. having a mailing list, building up a community nd posting content where the audience is locatted is a great way to ensure continuous growth. the greatest advantage is not the number of visitors but having people uh can trust.

makes sense that no single channel replaces Google, but stacking email + community + partnerships can. I am leaning toward starting with a niche community/guest posts to get initial traction, then using that to build the email list from day one rather than treating it as an afterthought, i wanna know which of these channels gave you the fastest early traction versus the one that compounded best long-term?

creating live blog page does not depend on traffic from google only but having experience on generating traffics from sources like social media app with update from recent blog post to notify users of the new update.
