Not materially harder than if there was just 1: ultimately Google got gamed in the 90s by people doing keyword stuff/spam and AI is the same: yes maybe you would game it more easily at the beginning but ultimately the best practises that will be emerge will be like SEO - hard to apply, hard to measure, slow to see results.

the future of AI SEO will surely be more complicated in the way that we r not optimizing for just one algorithm anymore. different AI tools can have different interpretations of content nd can evaluate it in a unique way. However the core concept of developping useful, correct nd trustworthy content will remain the same. sites will need to provide high quality nd authoritatiive content that can help solve users problems.

Let me clear with Ai first, claude it was operational and technical oriented i.e manual feeding and for chatgpt - openai this tier up with large site to powerup gpt engine. Gemini - this scrap 100 results in single query and when comes to perplexity combine of claude+chatgpt+Gemini.

When comes to Ai SEO it's tougher now since every system works differently. Best bet: focus on clear, quality content—works everywhere. Claude feels more consistent though.

i believe that AI SEO will revolutionize everything. previously, we concentrated on optimiziing website ranks. However now we should produce content that would be easily recognized, trusted nd referred by various AI. the downside of this process is that there r no specific formulas any more. the upside is that sites concentrating on expertise nd accuracy will stand out regardless of the speciffic algorithm.

Honestly, yes and no. It's harder in the sense that you can't reverse-engineer one algorithm anymore each AI system has different retrieval methods and citation preferences. But the underlying fundamentals that make content citable are converging, not diverging: clear structure, direct answers near the top, original data/insight, and strong topical authority tend to get pulled across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews alike. So instead of optimizing per-platform, I've shifted to optimizing for answer-ability.
