Hi guys! As a manager in direct advertising company, I'm interested in understanding what really influences affiliates when choosing an offer.

Which advantages encourage you to test a new offer, and which ones make you continue sending traffic long term?

Would be interesting to hear real opinions from affiliates working with different traffic sources.

Honestly, the biggest thing that gets me to test a new offer is cap flexibility. there is nothing worse than spending time and budget optimizing a campaign just for the AM to tell me there is a hard cap of 10 conversions a day. For long term, it is all about payout consistency and not shaving leads. If the EPC suddenly drops 40% on a Tuesday with no explanation, i am moving my traffic elsewhere. Also, letting us use our own custom landers and custom postbacks without making us jump through hoops is huge. @Marina Aff2Day if you want affiliates to stay, just be transparent about scrub rates and backend performance.

Sounds reasonable! Thanks for your opinion! Seems like it's all about disclosure - affiliates need to know from the start which traffic advertisers accept and on which terms. From our side I can tell that we always give everything affiliates need to know from the very beginning so there won't be a misunderstanding or conflict later.

P.S: Hard cap 10 conversion per day is crazy...
