Hey everyone,

I'm fairly new to affiliate marketing and started running ClickBank offers, mainly through paid ads on Meta. So far the experience has been mostly positive, but I'm looking for some networking and advice from people with more experience in this space.

Back in February I got 2 sales on a $35 ad budget, on an offer paying $45 per sale — pretty solid for my first real launch. Since then though, I haven't been able to generate any more sales, and it's hard to pinpoint the problem. My CPC is low and people are clicking through and staying on the page, but my landing page just isn't converting. When I got those sales, my landing page was converting at 50%. The VSL itself is solid, so I don't think that's the issue.

Would really appreciate any advice on building a landing page that actually converts. Thanks in advance!

so are you running meta ads directly on a VSL or using your own niche website as a lander to send users to the VSL ? What kind of niche are you doing ?

I run ads on Meta. Most of the time they're image ads: they include a story and a link that leads to my landing page, which then leads to the VSL, where they convert into sales. My specific niche is digital survivalism products.

I think the difference with a landing page that converts is that it doesn't look like a page built to sell, but rather one that connects with the interested person while also creating intrigue. As a result, they end up going to the VSL, which is what matters for converting into a sale.

that's true and you're already doing a fantastic job to use a lander for meta ads. Since your niche is not a restricted one, i believe it will start to convert with better optimisations, retargeting. Are you tracking your visitors using GA4 or Meta pixels ?

For now, I only track with the Meta Pixel and the data that ClickBank provides me. This is mainly because, with a limited budget, I haven't been able to invest in an external tracker like RedTrack. It may not be the most strategic approach not knowing which ad the sales are coming from, but since I don't test too many angles, it hasn't been a problem. In the future, I plan to invest in one.

Right now, I'd like to find an offer that pays per lead. It's very difficult to find offer owners who pay per lead, since those are private offers within ClickBank.

that's amazing, you know what you are doing at the moment. All you need to do find any problems with your lander or ad copy you are using on meta and try different ads if possible under your budget.

I am also trying to do a product in health niche high ticket product with a lander using meta ads to collect data on my pixel and GA4, i will probably spend a few hundred dollars to see the user behaviour. Currently i am sitting at about 35-40 clicks on my landing page with 1 click on the offer link, which is not bad yet not great in a tier 1 country. Might change my ad copy to something else staying in the guidelines given by product.
