Is it possible to get recommended in other regions on TikTok, Instagram?

I live in the Middle East, and the regions of my TikTok and Instagram accounts are set to my current country.

However, the content I plan to publish will be in English, and my target audience is in Europe and North America.

According to the algorithms, will my content mainly be shown to people in my region, or can it also be shown to users in other regions?

What has your experience been with this?

Yes, it’s possible, but the first push is often influenced by your account/location signals.

If your content is in English and gets early engagement from US/EU users, TikTok/Instagram can start pushing it to those regions. I’d focus on English content, US/EU topics, posting times, and targeted early engagement rather than only changing VPN/region.

Actually i tried to post a reel, the content is full English, and also all followers are bot from SMM panels (mainly their Region is India), but i got 1 organic like and that's from my own region

In that case I wouldn’t expect region/IP changes to solve much. I’d rather test with a clean account, no panel followers, and post only English content for a few weeks. Also interact naturally with creators/content from the audience you want to reach.
One reel is probably not enough to reset the signals. The account history and follower quality can matter a lot.

The Point is im not from India, as i check right now in my account insight (Russia 22%, Indonesia 10.8%, India 6.2%, Kazakhstan 5.7%, Argentina 5.4%)
I'm living in the MENA, none of these countries, and i never watch any content using this account, i just log in, check DM, or share something, that's all.


Edit: i checked the new content i published, Audience mostly from Reels tab, and 54% from my own country!

If i am you i wont worry too much about where the account was created because If your content is consistently in English and clearly appeals to users in Europe and North America, the platforms usually start finding the right audience over time so just stay consistent, optimize your captions and hashtags for your target market, and let the algorithm gather enough data.

Yes you can push it to an english audience, just make sure you publish your videos at the time where the people of your target country are at home so the videos will pushed in their time zone and viewed by your prospective audience in that time zone.

getting recommended in other regions is realistic, but the better approach is to make the content genuinely relevant to those audiences rather than trying to trick the platform's recommendation system.

Problem is, Tiktok itself has very stric geo based algo, menas; it shows always your reels/video first to your small local country audience, then that's the bottleneck, most reels/videos die here and not getting enough views, so then Tiktok not shows your video to USA.

That is the main problem on Tiktok and other social platforms to nowadays.

Yes, if you're from the USA, UK, top countries... I'm from Serbia and all my videos are stuck inside my country, while I see USA content creators videos in my country.
Somehow they put our videos in "jail" and cant get out, their stupid algorithm.

Now I'm using VPN(USA) for 60 days so I can change my country to the USA.

When I upload some videos that are in English then I get 10 views max, but when I upload videos that are Serbian content I get a lot of views.

Yes its working for USA and Eurp you can upload video in English lang and get good views for sure, proper hashtag, follow or copy someone doing good there in your niche.

Yes, it’s definitely possible. TikTok and Instagram can recommend content outside your region, especially when the content, language, engagement, and audience signals match your target market. Consistency and strong audience retention also make a big difference.

Take a US residential proxy and create a new account. And engage with real US accounts before you post. I think it helps.

Your older Tiktok account now has account DNA it's buried. Buy a second hand smartphone , a USA datacard with US phone number , set all up via adspower browser on PC which will mask your home wifi router.
Then create a new google account (!) new name region USA, put your US phone numberr in there
Make first of all a phone reset, deactivate gps location, set language, play store, google all to region USA before you create new google account and email (!)

Then create new Tiktok account- stop that day. The next 3 days do a warm up, only scrolling and following 5 usa influencer make 2-3 comments, after these 3 days post 1 reel/video that week and the next following 3 days. Then you can post 2-3 reels/videos every day to Tiktok with schedule to 3x different USA times. Voila ! You will now into USA traffic on Tiktok.
