Hello,

I have a validated digital product -- about $3,500 in sales. Users are happy about the product.

Now, the tricky part.

The product is a risk in terms of copyright infringement. I have been selling without any trouble in Gumroad, but I already got hit by a DMCA takedown notice and will likely get my account closed if I continue.

Do you know any alternatives to Gumroad that are more lenient? I would also consider just hooking up a high-risk payment processor on my website.

I am new to this. Happy to answer any questions.

I doubt my target audience is crypto friendly. But maybe worth trying.

Most platforms will have the same issue better to solve the copyright problem first

It's better to move towards the cloaking technique to avoid the payment struck.

Heres a tip, look at all the websites that are reselling digital products (high risk of receiving copyright notice), and learn how they accept payments from customers.

They usually do it in "creative" ways

Usually crypto. Also they send you a PayPal link in some cases. I am not reselling digital products though. My products are in a "grey-zone". Thanks.

Setup a dummy website with legit looking products and redirect the purchases through that website.

If you are working in a high-risk industry, it is crucial to understand that a standard processing system may not be adequate. There exists a technique known as cloaking, which redirects your customers at the point of checkout to a legitimate product, thereby preventing gateways such as PayPal and Stripe from detecting the actual transaction.
