Hey guys,
When you work for yourself online, staying focused for 8–10 hours a day is incredibly brutal. The temptation to open YouTube, check crypto prices, or just slack off is real.
Personally, using the Pomodoro technique (50 minutes on, 10 minutes off) while using a physical kitchen timer on my desk is the only thing keeping me sane.
What is your go-to routine, app, or habit that keeps you glued to the grind without burning out?

A big one for me was changing my homepage to Google and not nhentai.

It's definitely helped me with my productivity.

Yeah that's what I tell my parents when they ask me what am I up to.

"Just action manga, mum".

Technically there is certainly a lot of action it just usually involves tonnes of Yuri.

Run from home when you have kids and wifey, who don't understand your work as much as you do
That's the best service you could offer yourself

The 80/20 rule. I only do the most important 20% of tasks that are responsible for 80% of the gain. Which for me right now is ripping a website and using it as my own. And cold calling business owners. This work is not going to do itself. On YouTube I only watch money-making related videos. It helps to know most of the stuff on YouTube is scams. It's all clickbait and stuff that you already know with common sense. YouTube is a waste of time. Video is addictive. And we didn't have all this junk 20,000 years ago. You have to be a producer not a consumer to make money. It's like the laws of physics. And sure it's easy to forget and procrastinate. But the law says if you don't produce then you won't make money. And that's okay with some people. Don't be like them.

You can create a small ritual to signal the start of work. For example, only work in a dedicated room, or use a specific color desk mat to remind yourself, “I’m in work mode now.” When you want to take a break, leave that space and step away from the work environment. :)
