We all know Reddit marketing is in demand. But lately, I’ve been noticing that businesses are also paying for meaningful comments on their LinkedIn posts to boost engagement and credibility. Is LinkedIn comment marketing becoming the next big opportunity?

I think thoughtful comments can definitely help build visibility The key is adding value instead of just commenting for the sake of it

On LinkedIn comments outperform posts in visibility. That's a big deal for smaller accounts or brand reps who don't have a huge following

The comenting on LinkedIn is in fact very influential since the discusion always reache a bigger audience compared to the post itself. nevertheles, the most imprtant thing is that the discusion should be of high quality.

LinkedIn comments are being utilized by many individuals and businesses as an effective way to boost visibility and build credibility without the need to publish a large number of posts.

Linkedin pulse has been effective lately. I have seen it rank as a parasite for a lot of difficult keywords.

But LinkedIn pulse post ranking would also depend on the age of the account posting, their activities (if they are posting sparsely, or spamming)

Comments i doubt. With LinkedIn, comments without enough likes won't even show up on top. Also keep in mind LinkedIn audience can see through fake comments and they will instantly call out the post or even create another post about X brand shilling via fake comments

I don't think marketing through LinkedIn comments is very effective. Instead, I'd recommend reaching out through direct messages.

Nobody's fooled by a paid "Great insight!" comment, LinkedIn's favorite hobby is publicly dragging obvious shills. Paying someone to leave a genuinely sharp comment though? That's basically just marketing wearing a trench coat. Anyone actually seen this move the needle, or does it just look good until someone screenshots it?

i think it is definitely growing. real thoughtfful LinkedIn comments can boost visibility, build credibility nd even spark valuable conversations. the big difference is that ppl can usually tell the difference between real engagement nd generic Great post coments. in the long run businesses that focus on real interactions r likely to get much better results than those who just chase numbers.

The opportunity may not be in writing more comments but in becoming a recognizable name in the comments, because people often notice familiar contributors long before they ever visit their profile

It's growing, especially for B2B. Genuine comments from real people can increase visibility and build trust, but low quality or obviously paid comments are easy to spot. As with Reddit, quality matters much more than volume.

Companies paying for LinkedIn comments is not a recent strategy, it works like on every other platform, a post with multiple useful comments that leads to conversations attracts more attention than a post with no comments or multiple unmeaningful comments, like thanks, interested, glad to know, etc.

The thing nobody's saying here... LinkedIn kills reach on comments with links or anything spammy looking. So the play isn't just dropping a sharp comment, it's building the account first so it has some authority behind it.

Comments from a fresh no-name profile do basically nothing. Comments from someone the algo already trusts, different story. @indianmojojojo kinda touched on this with the account age stuff.

Honestly the real value imo is early comments within the first hour of a post going up, that's what actually feeds visibility. Late comment on a dead post is just decoration.

i dont think it is currently much big opportunity or I havent got into it much but what i right nowadays is just spams in the linkedin comments, spams for different email scrapping

this is something i have observed as well. with organiic reach becoming increasingly difficult to get brands want to explore different options through which they can establish a genuine conversation about their posts. So the use of linkedIn comment marketing will become increasinggly comon in the coming years.

Not sure if it’s next big thing yet but demand for quality comments has definitely increased.
