The main website may use badsite.com, while logins, assets, APIs, and other services may use subdomains like www.badsite.com, login.badsite.com, api.badsite.com, etc. That’s why it’s better to add both rules: the main domain and all subdomains.

*: port = this port is blocked for every destination.

A few things surprised us:

    “Millions of IPs” on proxy websites often sounds impressive, but in reality you only use your own line’s slice of the carrier network. And ~1,800 real carrier IPs is already enough for many use cases.
  • The carrier matters more than the pool size
    Some carriers give you a fresh IP almost every rotation. Others keep recycling the same small block, so you can rotate thousands of times and barely get new IPs.
  • A mobile IP doesn’t mean you are “hidden in a crowd.”
    In most cases, it’s just your line using that address. The real value is not anonymity - it’s a real mobile carrier connection, stable location, and infrastructure you control.

✅ IP change does not work when the screen is locked? Check these device settings

Sometimes the proxy itself works fine, but one specific action does not work: IP change when the screen is locked.
The phone is online. The app is running. Push notifications work. This is why the problem is not obvious.

* Screen locked → IP change URL was called → IP did not change
* Screen unlocked → same IP change URL was called → IP changed correctly
* “Find my phone” push notification worked with both locked and unlocked screen

It looks like the phone is working normally in the background. But in reality, Android / MIUI may still limit some background actions.
Push notifications can continue working because they are handled as high-priority system events. But IP change is a normal background action, and MIUI may freeze or delay it when the screen is locked.

So instead of keeping the display always on, it is better to fix the background settings.

For Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO devices, check these settings for iProxy and OpenVPN apps.

Bottom line:
If iProxy looks online, but IP change works only when the screen is unlocked, the problem may still be Android background restrictions. You may need to change several settings to stop Android from killing or freezing background processes.

✅ Rotating a mobile proxy and same IP keeps coming back? People blame "broken rotation", but it's just the carrier.

The pool behind one SIM is finite. On a typical active line we see a median around 1800 unique IPs over 90 days, roughly 220 a week, and about 21% of rotations inside a 24h window land on an address you already had. So repeats are baked in unless something filters them out.

Mobile proxy says US, and Facebook's acting suspicious because your DNS resolves somewhere else? It checks that on purpose.

Facebook (and it's not alone) looks at whether proxy's geo and your DNS geo line up.
