struggling to find the right proxy for my use case

im doing ecommerce, running multiple shops and struggling with random bans even before i did anything related to ID verifications

im certain its about the IP address or the app im using multilogin/adspower

im ok to switch to a dedicated vps if thats whats required but focusing on the ip addresses for a moment

ive tried many types of proxies including mobile proxies, residentials, datacenter

i realize ebay/etsy/amazon blacklists a lot of IPs so which way should i go about this ?


the mobile proxies may look genuine but they change pretty frequent even with sticky sessions, im guessing these ip changes could trigger their system too ?


if so, then is static residential the solution ?

thing is, i read those residentials are in many cases a scam, where in reality youre getting some low quality datacenter proxy that isnt really residential

maybe its simply not as common and hard to find?

if thats the case should i start thinking IPV6 residential static ? is there even such a thing ? maybe with the greater pool of ipv6 there are much less chances of running into blacklisted ips ?

I would stop changing too many variables at once. For ecommerce, I would lock one profile to one sticky ISP or residential IP, keep the same browser fingerprint on it, and only test one marketplace at a time. A lot of random bans come from the identity stack changing together, not just from the proxy type.

When you say e-com, you mean Vinted, right?
If yes, mobile proxies with IPv6 are the way to go.

One thing I'd add is that consistency compounds over time. A decent IP used for months often performs better than a constantly changing stream of "fresh" IPs. Reputation is built, not only inherited.

i dont think IP is the issue here in most cases platform usually look at a combination of signal so changing of proxy might not be that usefull just focus on being consistent and keep testing a change at a time and the network environment should be stable as possible

I agree that it's probably not just the proxy. Platforms like Etsy look at a combination of signals, so switching proxy types alone rarely fixes random bans. I'd avoid changing multiple variables at once because it becomes difficult to identify what's actually causing the issue.

A few things I'd check:

• Keep one browser profile tied to one stable IP.
• Make only one change at a time (proxy, browser profile, VPS, etc.).
• Verify that your browser fingerprint and timezone remain consistent.
• Let accounts build a history instead of frequently changing their environment.

If you've already tried datacenter, residential, and mobile proxies with similar results, I'd start investigating the browser profile or account setup before assuming the IP is the root cause.
