Guys, today is the first day I am trying the addon, and so fast I see about 10,000 URLs form the lists is checked (many more to go), and none follow found, vast majority of URLs seem to be labeled as "Unknown platform" or "unsupported" (plus every time the link is visited I increase the risk of security bridge if all those Trojans manage to break in despites my antivirus).

Can anybody share is this addon is worth of time spent on checking the links?

Is there any suggested ration of do-follow/no-follow links that is optimal for search engines?

And if there any penalties for significant domination of no-follow links, if I drop the whole idea of figuring out if the links will be no-follow?

from what i know the addon is only for Wordpress

I've not had much luck with it. It will find DF blogs but they seem to be far and few between.

I know the video Sweetfunny has of "dog, cat" seems to find an abundance of them, but I sure don't come anywhere close to that kind of success.

Would love to hear from others if you are having luck with the addon.

This one? http://www.scrapebox.com/videos/do-follow/

I didn't just put keywords, i used a do-follow footprint no different than using a forum footprint if i was looking for forums. Same with any query, if you don't target it to what you are trying to find then the outcome obviously won't be great.

Sweetfunny, what exact footprint did you use or suggest to use to locate **************** links?
I checked my luist of scraped 30,000 URLs (targeted for a keywords), and then checked **************** with the addon.. and , oh, boy. So few that it wasn't worth of hours checking...

hey observer

watch the video - you'll be able to work it out in a few seconds

The link checkers in SB DO NOT work....at least well. The backlink checker doesn't work......other than occasionally on WP blogs and the ******** checker only works on a few specific blogs. Forget about using it for bookmarks and other checks.

Pretty shitty

After seeing this post I thought I'd give it a try. I used a custom footprint consisting mostly of CommentLuv. Out of 976 url's it came back with 43% of them are detected as ********. These are all wordpress (I think thats all that this can test for.)

So it seems like it works alright. But as with everything, you have to have tried to harvest ********'s first.

As a side question, why is the term do follow stared out on this forum?

If it is not providing you the do follow backlink then it is of no use to check it for backlinks.
