we know that AI is everywhere, but come on, Wikipedia ? it will just ruin it, because AI hallucinate a lot, and Wikipedia should be the world book of information.

I've seen a YT video talking about this problem but I only saw the video but didn't click it.
and didn't saw anyone talking about AI conquering Wikipedia.

Some news/media portals unofficially own it. They attack, harass, and humiliate anyone linking to sources with conflict of interest.

When Tiktok was popular in India, they used to mass publish news articles about some influencers and then create wiki pages projecting them as celebrities. This business abruptly ended when Tiktok was banned.

I have seen some wiki pages citing non-existent authors who just publish a random book on Google books for citation and then disappear. We don't find any information about them anywhere on the internet.

Google used wiki for data scraping and then threw it away.

the info & sources are correct, but the way AI-generated articles are written is garbage.
Wikipedia entries should be organic.
