Hello. I’m uploading review videos of the best-selling products on Amazon in the US using artificial intelligence. I produce videos that are on average 7–8 minutes long, using the Minimax AI algorithm. I’ve set up a custom automation system. I haven’t seen the view rate exceed 15–18 per cent—isn’t that a bit low? It’s starting to feel like the channel isn’t taking off.

Should I evaluate the channel based on this rate, or does it all depend on uploading videos regularly for a few months and perhaps one video suddenly going viral?

Here are a few examples:

Are you ranking for the main keywords ? You have to rank for related keywords with good search volume. If your video is not showing up on search it will not go viral.

I don't think you'll get many views, the videos are tedious, and boring, and talk very generic. Not like real influence/user would create a video unboxing it.

Did you clone your voice. Seems more realistic then usual? The voice i mean, but otherwise. I have seen many youtube videos where people skip something like this. Mainly ads. Youll have to do something to separate yourself in my humble opinion. From the rest of the 'meat pack' as they say

Thank ou for your suggestion. I’ll make some adjustments to the video content to provide a more specific explanation rather than just general information.

Hello, I haven’t tried reducing the number of clones, but I’m going to clone them.

A 15-18% view rate for a 7-8 minute video is quite low and indicates that the content isn't retaining viewers. You shouldn't just wait for one lucky video to become popular; reassess your channel based on real-world metrics, optimize according to the Product Upload Guidelines, and ensure compliance with the platform's affiliate marketing policies.

Consistency helps but the algorithm also needs a reason to recommend your videos. Improving the hook and viewer retention will likely matter more than just uploading more.

Don't judge it by uploads alone. For product reviews, fix the first 20 seconds and make the script compare choices, drawbacks, and who should skip it. Generic AI narration gets ignored fast.

A quick departure of viewers signals that the "opening" wasn't engaging enough, or the content didn't live up to the expectations promised by the title/thumbnail.
