Hi,

I'm a software engineer and video solutions specialist. I built OTT solutions (Web, Mobile, TV apps) and a complete CMS over 1.6 years. I find that the market is very tough to get into alone. So when I tried to sell it completely as a codebase, it turned out to be tougher than I thought. The only way is to sell it at a low cost, under $15,000 for one licnese for all (CMS, web, mobile, and TV).

Where can I sell it? And what's the best community to sell it on?

At that price point you will need some amazing USPs. You would need to go hyper-niche, so targeting specific technical streaming communities. Most people will be used to a cheap script from codecanyon or the like.

The solution includes a lot of features, but the ones I use most are Cloudflare stream/Image, Bunny Stream/storage

It was built with a solid architecture, and I usually spend about a month branding and customizing it to match each client's design. It supports VOD (HLS/DASH), live streaming (WebRTC and HLS), and includes many integrations.

Unlike most Codecanyon scripts and similar solutions, it comes with fully native mobile and TV apps featuring offline downloads, multiple user profiles, RevenueCat IAP integration, multiple audio and subtitle tracks, multi-language support, and many other features. At that price, I also include tvOS and Android TV apps.

So far, I've had one client purchase the complete solution for a one-time payment of $18,000, which included branding, deployment, and publishing for iOS, tvOS, Android TV/Google TV, Android (Google Play), and FireOS.

I don't get you, but if you mean apps that can read M3U structure like Tivimate, it's not. It's much more complex, it's a complete management system for VOD and Live (can be cloud/ local based) with nearly 30 modules. You can say it's like Netflix/HBO (multi-profile, kids mode, multiple audio tracks, subtitles with HLS/DASH, and many monetization features (SVOD, PPV)). IPTV apps are much simpler because they just read the M3U structure and render it on a player with video content using TMDB. I work on it sometimes at $8k for custom Android TV.

$8,000 USD for an Android TV app? That's quite expensive for an IPTV player. I have bought a player that works on Samsung TV, LG and android tv for 200usd. That said, if you own the player, there's a lot of money to be made. Instead of relying solely on customers buying subscriptions from your website, you could sell activation credits to resellers, who would then sell them to their own clients. For example, one credit could equal one year of activation and cost around $5 on your website. For resellers, you could offer credits at $2.50 each, with a minimum order of 500 credits. That's an easy $1,250 per sale. The best part is that this business model is completely legitimate, since your player doesn't include or provide any playlists.

There is a difference between reselling the same UI/features to many users by just changing the logo (that all devs do for low price), or building something for you as a client from scratch $8,000 for building things based on client requirements. So reselling such things for $150-300 is normal for IPTV app players. But building unique things for you is a different story. Yes i have native AndroidTV player but still as side-project, is have unique clean features and algo for formatting channels names and icons with db, and content/subtitles with plugins. But i left it because there is no time without client to spend on it. Also i have personal app work with Jackett indexer for TV but is just personal use for watching movies/show.

The current one I talked about above is a different story than IPTV, even though it is much more complex because payment and player stuff handles many things.
