How keywords to target per page and density ?

Hi

I am going to write indivisual pages for my website, targetting each page for each keyword i want to be found in the searches for. I would like adivce on the below if possible.

1.For meta descrtipion and meta keywords how many should i target? Would it be my main keyword for this page and 3 other keyword phrases?

2.What should the keyword density be on this page for the main keyword and the density of the other 3 keyword phrases, Say the content is 1000 words.

So would the density for the main keyword be

2%

and the other 3 keyword phrases be say 1.5%

Or does it need to be alot higher on both

I target 1 Keyword per page. Density around 7%. On the index page I try for 3 KWs, density 3-5%. For the title I look that the targeted KW is at the beginning and in the description I mix up KW and smiliar keyphrases in a natural sounding way.

I'm doing pretty well like this. Your experience may differ, no guarantee on anything I say

1000 is a lot of words. People get bored pretty quickly these days. Around 500 with some break up of text using bullet points, different colors, graphics, italics and other headlines. Not too much but enough to keep their attention.
If you can't do it with less than 1000 the you need to break it into a part 1 and part 2. This is also a technique to bring them back if part 1 was interesting.

I am really looking for these pages to rise in the serps for keywords, so i was going on the principle of google likes content, is it neccesary for me to have so much word content of 1000?

Also what should keyword density be?

Is it 6% for the main keyword? What would the other keywords be also?

Don't overdo it. Keeping up density in a natural way becomes more difficult the more words you have.

Others 2-3%

Thats a lie.... anything above 5% is keyword spamming.

Keep it at a density of 2% - 4% max!!!!!!!!!
