WTF happened to google PR?

I was buying hi PR domains through godaddy auction, today checking 3 of the them they got they PR reset some to none some to 2 -3 levels lower .
Some one knows wtf is happening

PR can be faked, and G may drop the PR to 0 if the site is replaced by an empty domain sales page/placeholder.

The supposed PR's on a lot of auction sites (and yeah TDNAM I'm looking @ you...among others) are often fake.

Whats weird is that all have wp themes with content in them and just some dropped today and 1 got downgraded from 3 to 1 big G is big G i guess,
who know maybe they have a new algorithm to control?

If you bought an expired, it had pr and you built a site on it and now the pr has dropped - some of the original links have probably been pulled.

looks that you are right but 4 of them with wp autoblogs didn't get downgraded. I just check some other new domains I have and they went up
