bookmarks a hidden ranking signal on X?

yeah its real, x weights bookmarks heavily, a bookmark says "valuable enough to come back to" which the algo reads as much stronger intent than a cheap like. but the bigger pattern invictus is pointing at: everything that costs the user EFFORT outranks a like, bookmarks, long replies, profile clicks, dwell time. a like is a reflex, those things cost something. so the lever isnt farming bookmarks as a number, its making content worth returning to, reference threads, saveable lists, step-by-steps, that gets bookmarked and pushed. reactive hot-takes get likes and die. are your posts more saveable/reference type or reactive?

Check your top performing posts you will almost always see that the ones with the highest view counts also have the most saves, not just the most likes.

I've heard bookmarks may be a stronger signal than likes. Has anyone tested this or noticed a pattern?
Could be. Bookmarks probably show stronger interest than likes, but I'd say replies and comments are strong signals too.

Yeah because bookmarks give a signal to the algorithm that your content is liked, therefore they give a stronger signal than likes.

I treat bookmarks as a good sign because people normally save content they want to come back to. Whether it is ranking signal or not, it is still a positive metric.

Absolutely, bookmarks carry way more weight than likes as the algorithm treats them as high value signals, so focus on creating actionable guides, checklists, or deep threads to trigger saves and explode your reach.

Yeah, I'd take bookmarks over likes any day. I think bookmarks probably matter more since people save posts they want to come back to.
