I WANT TO KNOW

GS Location Changer browser extension.

Allows you to mimic search engine results for a specific location without need for proxy/VPN. Very accurate too.

Google Search Console its free and gives me the data I use most often and Semrush and Ahrefs but those are not really free tools

Yeah, i agree with guys who say Search Console. If you choose 1 free tool - you cant go around it.

For me, it's Google Search Console. It's free and gives the most useful data on search performance indexing, and keyword rankings.

I see a lot of love for gsc here, and i completely agree for raw performance data straight from the source.
However, coming from a data extraction and development background, my most used free tool is the free tier of screaming frog.
Being able to run a quick 500 url crawl to check response codes, find missing tags, and audit script execution is invaluable. It’s the closest thing to building a custom scraper for quick, on-the-fly technical audits. Combining the two gives you the full picture.

Google Search Console is a good one for reliably telling you what you're actually ranking for, clicks, impressions, ranking issues, the good stuff. Hard to pass off, really. The only other one that gets namedropped for these type of things is Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.
If I had to pick just one, though, it'd be Search Console. First-party data and all.

Google Search Console, hands down. It's not flashy but it literally tells you exactly what Google sees, which keywords you're ranking for, and if your pages are even indexed. For free, you can't beat that. I also poke around with Ahrefs' free backlink checker sometimes, but GSC is the daily driver.

Spot on, you really can't argue with first-party data when it comes to the actual serps.

Which free SEO tool do you use the most?
search onsole is almost the sole free seo software that can give you real data from google. anything else is just a guesing game. I use it daily and immediately check what is missing by validating against Bing webmaster tools or screaming Frog.

I use Google Search Console the most, because it gives data straight from Google. It helps me watch keyword rankings, get the clicks, the impressions, and also spot indexing issues. It also shows how the whole site is doing in search, in general. For a free tool, it’s pretty much one of the better resources to support SEO improvements for a website.

I use Ahrefs Free Tool, Semrush free Extension and Semrush paid tool , and for email verify i use free email verifier tool.

Which free SEO tool do you use the most?
gogle Search Console is the best among the free SEO tool providing you with genuine information from google like clicks, impression, and indexing. Bing webmaster tool or screaming Frog would be ideal for technical audit.

For me its Google Search Console, its free, provides data directly from Google and helps with tracking rankings, indexing issues, click through rates and keyword opportunities. I also use Google Analytics and Google Trends regularly but Search Console is the one I rely on the most.

Which free SEO tool do you use the most?
Everybody looks at GSC for performance number, and I do not see anything wrong with that. But for my part, I never use GSC without first looking at the fre screaming Frog crawl. GSC gives you google is view but frog tels you why.

I use Google Search Console the most because its free and shows how my site is performing in search It helps me find indexing issues track keywords and see which pages are getting clicks.

The absolute favorite is Google Search Console, as it is the only tool that provides reliable search traffic and indexing data directly from Google. For technical site audits, users most frequently add the free version of Screaming Frog to their arsenal, while using Bing Webmaster Tools and Ahrefs' free tools to gather alternative data and check backlinks.

Google Search Console and Ahrefs Free Keyword Generator are the ones I use daily. GSC is unmatched for tracking actual rankings, and the free Ahrefs tool is perfect for quick keyword research without spending anything. What specific SEO tasks are you trying to handle? :)
