Hi. For all those using genuine android phone farms (not cloud) how many IG accs are you able to make per phone?

Is it simply ADB / reset everytime?

Do you get hit with sms?

Thanks

There is no set number anymore Instagram analyzes the device's history, behavior patterns, and account's quality instead of just resets. On actual phones, sending to many accounts quickly tends to result in SMS verifications anyway

both cloud and real phones work the same if you know what youre doing

we make ~200 daily smoothly when needed, could make more since easy cloud scale but no need

The suggestion that I got from the solution I tested is up to 6 accounts per device.

Using a cloner / proxy setup and controlled remotely from a dedicated PC with a proprietary software, that allows for automation.

The license is based on the amount of phones that are controlled, not on the amount of accounts.

But as advised, Up to 6 should be the number to aim for if one would like to run multiple per one device. So they get enough auto-management (4 hours per day per account in this case).

4 accounts per setup is fine, not more. It depends on proxy quality and antidetect setup as well, but assuming if it's good it can withstand 4 accs.

As long as you’re properly rotating both fingerprints and IPs there shouldn’t be a hard limit.

we run 3 max per phone. Email and proxy matter the most

3 accounts per phone because if you have more and you get detected you risk losing all of the accounts.

thanks I plan to use all on instaccountsmanager. So how about make 3 , export, reset phone ?

The official Instagram app supports logging in and switching between up to 5 accounts in a single session. However, according to discussions within the Reddit automation community and Shadowphone operations experts, professional systems often set up device fingerprint spoofing or install cloning apps to manage 10-20 accounts per secure physical device.

ADB + full reset alone isn’t a magic shield anymore—Instagram looks at a mix of device signals, behavior, account age, and network consistency.

And yes, SMS checkpoints are still common, especially when creating multiple accounts too quickly or with fresh numbers.

Instagram now has stricter requirements. You will almost certainly be asked to receive an SMS verification message (OTP). Large farms often integrate additional services such as SIM card rental or virtual SIM/API code rental stations to receive automated messages.
