Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced in a post Tuesday that he is raising cattle at his Hawaiian ranch. Zuckerberg shared his cattle project to Instagram and Facebook.

It was on News, social media, and forums. I'm surprised people didn't see it yet. It was all over my social media feed.

Something Japanese mastered like thousands of years ago. It's called wagyu/kobe beef.

those cows are drinking better than i did all of june. his low stakes hobby is breeding wagyu, mine is seeing how long i can ignore the check engine light. genuinely though beer and macadamia is basically the wagyu playbook, hes just running it on facebook money.

That's exactly how I see it. But many experiments are actually like that, somebody has a bit of extra time and money, so they experiment on stuff.

That's just normal beef with extra steps.

Cattle already get energy-dense feed, and fermented feed (silage) is used on practically every farm.

The unusual part here isn't really what they're eating, it's the extra processing of the alcohol and roasting the nuts, when silage and raw crops do essentially the same job.
