I often use Photopea to crop images for free and find it quite good. Then I use GPT to write the content, add a title and description. Separating the steps like that is more stable and saves a lot of time.

Do u use it to crop yourself or does it have some ai detection? For example if I insert a link to DaVinci and can it crop for me?

Not automatically. I usually crop it myself in DaVinci Resolve, though there are AI tools like OpusClip that can auto detect and reframe subjects.

I mostly keep it simple. I use CapCut free for clipping and captions and ChatGPT Claude mainly to generate hooks titles descriptions and sometimes timestamps or clip ideas. I do not fully automate the process since i still review and edit everything manually.
