Reddit - A Good Source For Traffic?

Hi Guys,

Anyone have some experience with Reddit in regards to if it is worth using to drive traffic to your web site?

If so, how do you get your articles on the front page?

Reddit is awesome, but if you are trying to push a products or do any other type of spammish stuff - you will be nuked into oblivion. Reddit users can be hardcore. One thing is your account of website can get banned from Reddit. Another thing is to get the reddit comunity on your back. I know people that have been under Ddos attacks etc, Bc of there spammish submissions.

Reddit and su each have potential. Reddit is higher volume. Getting front-page is tough I would say start testing with a smaller goal them build on that.

I don't mind I am a dane myself. I never got that much traffic from redditt, but hey I spammed them just a liiitle bit


But I am gonna look into redditt,SU and similar sites once again pretty soon.

I would call that standard networking. You do something for someone, they do something for you. How do you get front page through reddit? Is there a way to blackhat it? Or is it votes or something?

Man I didn't know reddit was any good. This whole time I was using digg alone and gtrends.

Yes, reddit is a good source of traffic. I had used it, but remember you have to use more accounts and proxy

Ofcourse, reddit is a great place to gain traffic from.

Viral things go to front page usually.
