You are also running proxy service right? How you are solving this issue?It’s mostly just flaky IPs and random blocks tbh, and you’re kinda guessing what’s going on half the time. Would be nice if they actually showed IP quality and let you control rotation/sessions properly.

So consistency is the main issue. I think most of the proxy providers are just resellers from big pool network.My advice will be to focus less on the biggest provider and more on the one that's consistent. The biggest challenge I've seen is quality changing over time, even when you're paying the same price. I'd also love to see providers add real-time health scores for IPs so users know what they're getting before they connect.
So if I want to start i should own my hardware then it will be better quality. but how can somone get the score of their IP address using online tools for IP quality?The biggest issue for me is transparency. I'd love to see providers show a quality score for each IP (reputation, ASN, previous abuse, success rate) instead of just selling a huge "IP pool." FloppyData has been pretty solid for me, but I'd definitely use a feature like that if any provider offered it.

Thanks for your feedback, Have you implemented on your platform?I'd add better diagnostics. When something fails, it's hard to tell whether the issue is the proxy, the target site, or your own setup. A simple dashboard showing latency, uptime, recent connection history, and whether an IP has been heavily used would save a lot of troubleshooting. I hope this helps.
I always feel blocking the subnet is the worst thing a website can do. Usually, broadband and mobile internet service providers use the same subnet for many users, right?the "shared IP gets flagged" part is real, but the thing that trips people up is the unit that gets judged isn't the single IP - it's the /24 and the ASN. platforms cluster by subnet, so when one IP in a range gets burned making accounts, rotating to the "fresh" IP next door in the same /24 buys you nothing - same neighborhood, same reputation. that's why a giant pool can still feel burned: it's a few ASNs sliced thin, not real diversity. so pool size is mostly a vanity number to me. what i'd actually want exposed is subnet/ASN spread, plus the option to exclude ranges already flagged on my specific target - because "IP quality" isn't global, it's per-target. an IP that's clean on google can be dead on instagram. a health score that doesn't say "against what" isn't telling me much.
right, and that's exactly why they mostly don't hard-block residential/mobile ranges — CGNAT means hundreds of real users can sit behind one /24, so a flat block takes out paying customers too. so instead of blocking they score it: the subnet's history just nudges your risk up and you eat more challenges rather than a clean 403. datacenter ranges are the opposite — no real humans behind them, so a site will happily null-route a whole ASN. that's the real reason residential survives and DC dies fast: not that the IPs are "cleaner," it's that the collateral damage of blocking shared ranges is too high for the site to eat. practical version: on residential your enemy isn't the block, it's the score creeping up until you're solving everything; on DC it's the outright ban. so on residential i watch challenge-rate as the early warning, not just hard failures.I always feel blocking the subnet is the worst thing a website can do.
