For what reasons? I used to like the old bhw circa 2010 when I first joined where you would get the reason for bannings but now I guess it is 'politically correct' to not say why.

Did you not get a reason for your banning? All banned members are usually informed of the reason.

I never said it was me who got banned. I am saying I liked to see how the reason for bannings of banned members was displayed on the user's profile to still active members.

I never said it was me who got banned. I am saying I liked to see how the reason for bannings of banned members was displayed on the user's profile to still active members.

The change of board software probably has something to do with that. With Xenforo we have to add the reason to the member's user title and we only do that if it's in the interest of the community - such as the member being banned through a dispute. 95% of the members we ban are for various spam reasons.

If you'll spend a few days on the forum you will learn to spot them because most of them are curious (they say "I'm curious what...."), or they'll only want to "hear real experiences, not interested in theory".

Furthermore, many of them use double / triple-word names, and they use cartoon, or real images of people.

I usually ignore such posts, but sometimes (out of boredom or because I feel that my reply could help some poor soul that might stumble upon my post) I do reply to them. But otherwise I don't bother with these threads anymore...

You are right bro, there are a lot of AI/spam accounts these days Moderators should keep a strict check so real users and genuine discussions are not affected Spam accounts should be verified and removed or reported quickly because sometimes real users and their accounts also get banned because of spammers

yeah the golden era is gone but that is just how the industry is now. back then you could rank trash with simple spun content, now everyone is crying about ai slop and google updates. the forum just reflects what is happening in the real world. you can still find good methods and case studies but you have to filter through a lot of noise... instead of chasing old vibes just adapt to what is working today. its a different game now but still plenty of money to be made if you actually test things.
