Domain equals keyword phrase/question

Ive had this domain for a while now. I was looking for some feedback regarding the stats. The site name is such that I can push the searched product. Assuming top 10 search listing (pretty sure I can pull it off/very low competition); are these numbers low, mid, high, good, bad, etc?

Global monthly searches /70k
Local monthly searches /10k

Those numbers aren't too low, but did you check the numbers for phrase and exact match?

2-New adwords tool
3-Old Adwords tool
4-Semrush

Then later decide.

SKTOOL = 100k global - 10k local - Low comp
New adwords tool = No data?
Old Adwords tool = 50k global - no local - high ad comp.
Semrush = cpc .05 - comp. 3.24 - avg.vol 237
Competing pages = 35,200,00 <- impossible to land top 20?

IMHO if old and new AWKWTs say no data then do not use it. Semrush also says it is useless. Weird thing is that generally SKTOOL gives less numbers than AWKWT. But it is just opposite here. Competing pages can be 345billion. It is never ever important. The only important thing is the competion regarding top 10-20.

Based on my experience the sktool gives much more accurate data consistently than AWKWT. If I find a keyword that has 2000 searches a month, then rank a site #1 it will get approx 2000 visitors a month. For AWKWT the same keyword could have anywhere from 5000 searches to 20 000 searches.

Right now the new AWKWT has some database problem or something since it isn't giving out any data really.

I would not worry about the number of "competing pages" since that really does not matter. What you should be looking at is the first page - since that is where you want your site to be.

thanks for the info,

so generally speaking, if the first page is loaded up with big names e.g. amazon, than its probably not a realistic goal for anything less content oriented?
