Yes, I messed up—I was careless, and the inevitable happened. I had around 10 Instagram accounts logged into the same device, some of them even using the same email address. Four days ago, all of them were suspended, and the only one I managed to recover was my personal account, through a video selfie and ID verification. This actually leads me to believe that, contrary to what some people here said, Meta does compare the video selfie with the photos posted on the account.
Having learned my lesson about contingency, I’m going to restart everything from scratch in the following way, and I’d like to hear what my seasoned fellow hustlers think about this approach:
– new phones (cheap used Android devices, maybe LG K51-likes)
– 5G connection only, with new and separate SIM cards for each device
– new email accounts, created and used individually for each account
– only one account per device
One question that’s been on my mind is whether it becomes almost unfeasible to maintain persona-based accounts—for example, the guys who manage profiles of AI models or anything that isn’t a real personal profile. I do have a real person I could rely on for photos and ID verification, but would I need a different person for each account? Obviously, that’s impractical. So how do phone farmers manage hundreds or even thousands of accounts without drawing Instagram’s attention? After all, it’s obvious they don’t have thousands of real people available for video or ID verification.
