It looks like the links get pushed off the first page in a week or so, and I don't think they pass any PR once they are off the first page.

But for the people who have had trouble finding an entry point into the spam community - this is your gateway.

hmmm.... quite valid point but when ever any one click on all comments, I think our link will be displayed on a PR7 page so is it necessary for a link to permanently show on a PR page

Guys - you all really ought to start reading some of the more intelligent posts on this forum. There are several people on here whom have mastered the art of obtaining high pr d0 follow backlinks and once you understand it and what to look for you can fire your links at quality sites at will. I have today spent 6 hours doing nothing but commenting upon pages not less than PR5 (and yes I am tired) all of which are DF and auto approved and I honestly haven't touched the sides in terms of my backlink catalogue.

If you want to get started adhere to what cyberzilla and Michallef have stated for starters, look at the spammers links and understand what FOOTPRINTS they are targeting. Once you understand this using a scraper tool (whichever is your flavour - there are many) work with these footprints to harvest and PR check. It initially takes some learning in terms of the right auto approve DF footprints but with practise you will get there.

I no longer have to pursue the spammed pages since my footprint collection is sufficiently robust enough to cater for my needs which means all my commenting is done on fresh, high pr, df pages.

As with anything in this game there is no easy fix, put the effort in and you will reap the rewards. I will however give you one very valuble tip which I have provided before but it seems people do not listen.

It's comments like this which give me hope in internet marketing....although I intimated a way in which to locate good quality backlinks the fact is the only true way to suceed in this business is to use your brain and use it consistentantly. It is futile in the short term to behave like a lemming copying everyone elses lead. The principle behind what I have said along with my intention, is to get people 'thinking' and 'acting' differently to others. The above 'share' has a much wider content and meaning to it - you simply have to use your brain and see it - the possibilities are almost limitless.

Ya it is spammed to death but it's a gold mine for me!

Now this page is like a "Comment SPAM Trap" All Viagra, pharmacy & finance niche spammers put their comments and links. As far as I know these people usually try to rank for very competitive keywords

I already told about harvesting these spammers link using their websites. There is one more easy way to harvest their links. Guess what? their comments!!! Ya comments....

Google showed me 39 results. After analyzing the result page, I found more pages from the same site with high PR & auto approved. Also few good pages with less OBL.

The best point here is, spammers are gonna use the above said comment again and again in all the high PR pages which they find. So you will get many links which is usually auto-approved, do-follow & high PR BINGO!!!!

Friends, stop complaining that this page is spammed to death.

Good share... but people ruined it... Look at the spam they sent out... Now it's not all that bad yet. but Google will find all sorts of content on that page and go "what the heck is this garbage!" "SPAM... SPAM... SPAM..." Just look at the comments yourself! People are abusing the fact that its PR 7 and they aren't leaving any value on the table... and I can almost guarantee those who are spamming crazy on that page, aren't anywhere near Google page 1

Usually it happens mate, People go and smash it very quickly, Google bots won't respect those links after sometime, as it has more OBL.

Can't use url bbcode in sig anymore there.

sooooo...I just responded to a post where someone(legit member) had posted a url, I 'quoted' him and changed the url to my site without changing the anchor text...tried to blend into the conversation so as to not get deleted as spam...I know I know, not as much weight without the keywords, but a backlink from the forum nonetheless

just making the best of it.
