marketing/sales is the obvious answer here and i agree with most of it but "learn to sell" is kinda vague advice that gets thrown around alot. nobody learns sales in the abstract, you learn it by picking one offer and one channel and getting reps in.
the distribution point is the real one though. building got cheap, attention didnt. you can have the best product and die in silence because nobody can find you.
if i was starting fresh today id pick one traffic channel, paid or organic doesnt matter, and just go deep on it for a year instead of dabbling in five. depth beats breadth early on imo. the people making money arent the ones who "know marketing", theyre the ones who actually understand one channel better than the next guy.
also copywriting underneath all of it. doesnt matter if its video, ads, email... if you cant make people care in the first 3 seconds none of the rest works.
