New blog posts not getting indexed

Hi guys,

I published a few new articles recently, but they are not getting indexed properly. It’s been several days and still nothing in search results.
Is this a common issue or am I missing something in SEO setup?

A few days isn't unusual, especially for newer websites. try to interlink different pages, install sitemap. schema markup. send website through GSC.

Yes, it's a fairly common issue, especially with newer websites or sites that don't get crawled often. I's first check that the pages are included in your sitemap, internally linked and not blocked by robots.txt or noindex tags. If everything looks correct, sometimes it simply takes Google longet to discover and trust new content.

Di you try request indexing in Search Console? try this, hopefully it works.
If your pages are sitting in "Crawled - currently not indexed," it usually comes down to two facts

Commodity Content - If your articles look, sound, and cover the exact same information as 50 other sites already in the index, Google will ignore it.

Zero Authority - A brand new site with no external links has no authority signals. Google's spiders crawl it once, see no external validation, and put it on the back burner.

Either you focus on quality content OR build 3 to 5 high quality, manual backlinks to pass some initial authority to your domain. Once Google sees your site actually has some real world trust, your new posts will start dropping into the index naturally. It takes some time now.

Ran into this roadblock myself and pulling my hair didn’t help much either. Chasing crawlers with Search Console indexing requests usually speeds things up, but now and then new sites get left in the slow lane. I started dropping internal links from my older (already indexed) posts to my new stuff and noticed Google picked up the breadcrumbs faster than before. Worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet.

Yes, it's quite common. Google doesn't index every new page immediately and it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on your site's authority and crawl frequency. Just make sure your pages are crawlable, linked internally and submitted through Google Search Console.

Sometimes Google takes longer to index new posts. If the content is unique and everything is set up correctly, it usually gets picked up with time.

It’s pretty common with new sites, check your sitemap, internal links and make sure Google can crawl your pages properly.

How new is the domain? That matters more than people are letting on here. If the site is only a few weeks old google will sit on stuff for a while no matter how clean your setup is.

One thing nobody mentioned... check the actual url in GSC with the inspection tool, not just the coverage report. It'll tell you if google crawled it and chose not to index vs never crawled at all. Those are two very different problems. "Crawled - currently not indexed" usually means a quality/thin content signal, "Discovered - not indexed" is more of a crawl budget thing.

@Crab is right about IndexNow btw, Bing picks up fast and sometimes that spills over.

Indexing delay happen all the time, but first let me talk about the GSC status. If it is crawled but not indexed, put more effort into the quality nd interlinking of the content.
