Hi,
I am learning SMM now and want to know about the LinkedIn platform. I just started worked on LinkedIn but didn't get the best results. So, I want to know what is the right way to generate lead on LinkedIn and what kind of challenges you faced?

In my case a well optimized profile and personalized messages worked much better than sending generic outreach to a large number of people. I think getting replies is one of the biggest challenges on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn can be a great platform for lead generation, but it usually takes time and consistency. One mistake many beginners make is sending sales pitches immediately after connecting with someone. I’ve found that building relationships first works much better.

A good approach is to optimize your profile, connect with your target audience, engage with their content, and regularly share valuable posts related to your niche. Once trust is established, starting a conversation becomes much easier.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was getting responses from the right decision-makers. I overcame this by focusing on personalized outreach and targeting people who were genuinely relevant to my services rather than sending mass connection requests.

Consistency and patience are key. Results rarely come overnight, but LinkedIn can become a strong source of quality leads when used correctly.

Biggest challenge is getting people to reply not finding them
Most beginners focus on volume when the real problem is weak targeting and generic messages

One thing I learned about LinkedIn is that lead generation usually takes longer than people expect. Many beginners focus on sending lots of connection requests or sales messages, but most of my better results came from building credibility first.

Sharing useful insights, commenting on industry posts, and having a strong profile helped far more than cold pitching strangers. When people see your content repeatedly and recognize your expertise, conversations tend to happen much more naturally.

The biggest challenge I faced was consistency. It's easy to post for a week and expect leads. In reality, it often takes weeks or months of showing up regularly before people start engaging, trusting you, and reaching out. LinkedIn seems to reward relationships and reputation more than aggressive outreach.

Don’t pitch in the first message. That’s where most beginners burn the account

sending connection request is easy built turning those connection into actual leads takes time. what worked better for me was sharing useful content and building relationships first instead of pitching right away.

In my opinion, the biggest challenge of finding clients on LinkedIn is having the right strategy and creating engaging content. Without a clear approach and valuable content, it's difficult to capture attention and generate quality leads.

One of the biggest challenge is getting people to respond. I've found that sending useful and friendly messages are better rather than trying to sell something in the first message.

I'm no marketing professional, but scrolling through linkedin, my biggest fear is people who slide into PMs right after connecting to spam a long template, makes me want to block them instantly. If you want leads, take time to check their profile, see what they need, and text them nicely like two actual humans talking. Stop blasting generic templates if you want a reply, if you just copy-paste in bulk, your account will get banned soon o_O
